New information has come to light regarding the shocking demises of esteemed director Rob Reiner and artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose bodies were located at their residence home on Sunday.

A source indicates quoting a family associate, a massage therapist scheduled for an session initially became concerned after failing to get inside the house. The therapist then got in touch with the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives nearby.

Upon entering the residence, Romy discovered her father's body. Accounts indicate she then exited the property overwhelmed with grief, not realizing at that moment that her mother's body was also present. Another individual who had accompanied her promptly called 911. Subsequently, first responders found Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Legal Developments

Law enforcement have charged the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with two counts of premeditated murder, along with the use of a dangerous weapon, said to be a knife. He is presently in custody and denied bail.

The person close to the family challenged several earlier details. It was stated that while Romy Reiner told emergency responders that her brother Nick resided in a guesthouse on the estate, she did not identify him as a suspect at that time.
