The Ideal Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Super Form According to the Zodiac Sign
This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement across the community. From the one-by-one unveiling of fresh additions before the game's launch, to players developing firm views on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.
With many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive designs that highlight their traits, one thought naturally: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
The Ram – Super Camerupt
To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for Aries, as both are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as always angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why the Ram far more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely spews lava when provoked. Remain on the friendly side of either and benefit from a strong ally; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.
The Bull – Mega Heracross
Similar to a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross, whether in its standard and Super Form, has aided numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the Pokémon and a Bull are still battle-oriented, and – whether it's their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their position to the end. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed love of snacks. Many past Pokédex entries note their craving for sweet tree sap and how it uses its appendage to hoard it all, which is true Taurus energy.
The Twins – Mega Medicham
Look at this absolute queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of every party, providing an constant stream of gossip to anyone who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's very easy to envision Mega Medicham mesmerizing an whole Wild Zone with their stories. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its capacity to predict an enemy’s next moves, which seems quite like a people-smart Twins.
Cancer – Mega Manectric
Cancer is widely considered as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign known for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the official info, Super Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's excessive for Manectric to completely control,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its capability to make a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is going to do, it’s rain on their own parade.
The Lion – Mega Starmie
Well, did you think I was going to select the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Aside from the fact that it would be far too obvious, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Fans couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the identical vibe a Leo offers to the scene. Starmie is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Leo to be staging a performance, albeit for aliens.
The Maiden – Super Victreebel
The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with constant acid reflux. The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a always surprised expression like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a strategy.
The Scales – Super Audino
Observe this gentle, sensitive being, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – sometimes to a fault – and trying to keep the peace, there are numerous Scales who would likely benefit from Super Audino's abilities. Though, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress even more about others.
The Scorpion – Mega Banette
Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly tragic origin: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through pure hatred and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion friends. A Scorpio loves karma and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.
Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha
Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a show. As a Sagittarius myself, the amount of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly little entertainer” is innumerable. The showiest and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can imagine.
The Goat – Super Absol
Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the ability to foresee calamities ahead of time? That exudes the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who often consistently think they’re correct. The thing is, much like a visionary Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to join the ground floor of the Mega trend.
The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure
Aloof air sign Water Bearer is possibly the non-fire sign that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s dual Spirit/Flame typing matches perfectly with this, and the Mega’s general daunting aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “draws in hatred and transforms it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
